The Standards Committee verifies that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other criteria for approval have been met in the development, revision, reaffirmation, or withdrawal of a USITT Standard, Guideline, or Recommended Practice. The committee also administers the procedures dictated by the USITT Procedures for Creating Standards and interacts with other organizations that create similar documentation.
