Mission 
The mission of the USITT Lighting Commission is to serve the lighting profession by providing a forum for dialogue and information relating to excellence in lighting design, associated research and development, and lighting design education.

Welcome
As commissioner I would like to welcome you to our webpage.  On this and the subsequent associated pages I hope that you can find answers to your questions about: how the lighting commission works, who to contact with questions about programming, portfolio reviews and Light Lab, and what people are doing in the many areas this commission serves.  This commission is not just for designers but we also serve our members interested in technology, architectural lighting, and lighting for film, video, and television.  We are a volunteer organization and we rely on the input of the members of USITT in order to help make programming, Light Lab, and portfolio reviews happen.  Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or if you want to be involved please drop me a line.
