USITT Keynote & Annual Meeting

Wednesday, March 18

Terrence Spivey, dynamic leader of the legendary Karamu Performing Arts Theatre in Cleveland, will give the Keynote and President Lea Asbell-Swanger will conduct the Annual Meeting.  The event will launch the 55thAnnual Conference & Stage Expo in an all-Conference event Wednesday morning.

Opening Night is being re-energized!  The event will now start with a cocktail party from 7:30-8:30 in the ballroom pre-function area, then open to the Ballroom where the Stage Expo Preview (formerly Brag & Swag) offers a product preview of Stage Expo, which opens the following morning. 

This will be the first networking opportunity for attendees to unite and catch up with each other or make new connections.  Don't miss this exciting evening!

We welcome attendees from around the world to the USITT Conference & Stage Expo.  In 2014, 16 countries were represented in Fort Worth.  As we expand our relationships with associations around the globe, we open up opportunities for our members to connect internationally as well as conduct business across all borders.  Invitation is required for this event.

Tech Olympics

Tech Olympics returns to USITT's Conference & Stage Expo. This popular competition is designed to challenge student members in the various disciplines involved in theatre production. Teams or individuals compete in management, lighting, audio, costumes, props and rigging.

Pre-registration is required for this event. Registration will open this Fall.
