Prague Quadrennial (PQ)

The Prague Quadrennial, held in Prague every four years, is one of the world's most prestigious competitive theatre art exhibitions. USITT produces the United States exhibits (national, student, and architecture) as a showcase for achievement in American design. The 2007 Prague Quadrennial (PQ) was held from June 14 to 24, 2007 and set records for attendance. Information and highlights about the entire PQ in which nearly 60 countries participated are available at www.pq.cz/en/.

Traveling Exhibit

USITT is offering the 2007 PQ exhibitions (national, student, architecture) to a wider audience once they return to the United States. To bring these exhibits to your venue, follow this link to additional information or Robert Scales directly at rscales@usc.edu.

Study Tour to PQ

USITT hosts a tour to the Prague Quadrennial every four years. The 2007 tour, through Central Europe: Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and the Czech Republic, was led by Dick Durst and hosted by Miodrag Tabacki from May 30 to June 19, 2007.

Information about the 2011 Tour will be available here when it is available.
