USITT provides year-round opportunities for recognition and advancement through education, awards, mentorships, and funding.  

Active programs include:

  • Nominations for Board of Directors
    USITT is seeking nominations for six Directors, VP Communications, VP Education & Training, and VP for International Activities for 2018-2021. Nomination and Self-Nomination are accepted
    Deadline to Nominate is March 1, 2018.
  • Exhibits for the 2019 Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space: curators are seeking to exhibit design work that represents the finest in artistic achievement presented in the United States between 2015 and 2019
    Deadline to apply: May 1, 2018
  • CM-ET Certification Class: advanced motor technicians, this 16-hour class will give students hands-on experience operating, inspecting and troubleshooting

  • USITT Presents: ETC at Fort Lauderdale: Three days of Family Console Training.
    Deadline to register: March 9 or When Full
  • USITT Presents: Introduction to Disguise: Learn how to use the disguise production toolkit main features including the Timeline, Stage and Output Feeds/configuration in this 1-day training session
    Deadline to register: March 9 or When Full
  • Rigging Safety Initiative: to provide free stage rigging inspections and safety training for secondary schools across America.
