Stage Manager Mentoring Project
Students
and young professionals interested in stage management
are given the opportunity to participate in a real life
training exercise coordinating major conference events.
Participants work with professional stage management mentors
to guide the varied and often complex conference events.
Mentors are drawn from the ranks of established professional stage managers and educators
who work in live performance venues.
Individuals interested in the Stage Manager's Mentoring Project should download the SMMP application form {PDF) which is posted on the Annual Conference and Stage Expo web site. Students will be notified of their acceptance into the program. Students from degree granting programs should note that the Institue prefers to choose students
from a wide variety of schools.
