Mission
The mission of the Health & Safety
Commission is to provide a medium for the interchange
of information on all topics that might effect the health
and well being of all performers, technicians, and audience
members and will provide a better environment for those
in the entertainment industry and those who witness
it.
Projects
The Health & Safety Commission promotes safe and productive workplaces at all levels of educational institutions as well as in community, regional, and professional theatres. The members of this Commission are also involved with USITT's International Health & Safety Award which honors individuals and institutions that successfully promote health and safety issues.
