| Statement:
The strength of the MFA program at CSULB is in its flexibility. The core of the costume concentration is a design class, a technology class and a production experience each semester. These technology classes include patterning, tailoring, dyeing and accessory construction. Electives are then suited to each student and can include art, design, computer or directed studies. The MFA student is a member of California Repertory Company, a professional theatre company in residence on campus.
