Statement: Students may formally focus on the costume area by using at least three courses (9 credits minimum) chosen in consultation with the faculty adviser. These courses can be taken to qualify for admission to the Advanced Undergraduate Theatre Program the department offers to students who qualify on the basis of outstanding achievement in course work. Admission to the AUTP is by invitation of the area faculty supervisor and the completion of a recommended "track" of courses, equivalent experience, and a portfolio review and/or interview. The program provides students with intensive study in theatre as well as the opportunity to collaborate with professional faculty and guest artists.
