Statement: The Department of Theatre, Film and Dance at HSU provides a quality educational experience that is energized by inquiry, discovery, collaboration, and application. Through unique curriculum and production, our program integrates the three disciplines of theatre, film and dance. You can build your area of emphasis from dozens of courses--costume area specific courses such as Costume Design (for stage and film), Pattern Drafting, Puppetry, Mask Making and 3-Dimensional Makeup, History of Costumes, Digital Portfolios, Rendering Techniques, Architectural History and Period Style, Dye Techniques, Makeup and others regularly offered.
