| Statement:
The MFA program values realized design experience in several venues and genres coupled with an intensive curriculum. The curriculum includes graduate level courses in collaboration, design, rendering, tailoring, masks, historic costume and it's social aspects enhanced with some studies in costume technology, crafts and the visual arts. Students may also opt for a graduate level study-abroad course in London. One to two masterclasses per year with high profile professionals in the field of costuming. Students design at least four major productions and may have opportunities for professional design with our summer theatre program. The program is housed in a new state-of-the-art facility with a professional quality costume studio, two mainstage theatres and technology enhanced design studio.
