| Statement:
Graduate Costume Design students are required to study in a second area of design(scenic or lighting). Strengths of the curriculum include its relationship to the MFA Directing Program through a rotating series of classes, jointly taught by professional designers and directors. Classes focus on creative research, collaborative conceptual development of a play, and the realization of this process through production. Costume Design students also have a balance of indivudualized design, skill courses and theatre and design history.
