Statement: Our BFA program is part of the Conservatory at Shenandoah University. We offer a large range of specific costuming classes, including Costume Design I & II, Costume History (2 semesters), rendering classes, advanced sewing classes, patternmaking classes (drafting and draping) and an advanced makeup class. We mount 10 productions per year, giving students a wide range of experiences, and we have two costume design professors on faculty, giving students the benefit of both of our backgrounds and experience.
