Statement: Slippery Rock produces 4 mainstage productions each year as well as additional student written and directed works. With a small student-to-faculty ratio, students have he opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on mainstage and student-produced shows every semester. A paid costume shop assistant position is available. SRU has a strong K-12 education program and our most popular double major is Theatre/Education. Special Topics courses are taught regularly including; Fabric Painting and Dyeing; Maskmaking; and Antique and Reverse Patterning.
