Excellent faculty and recently revised curriculum. Courses offered include costume history, graphics, beginning and advanced design, and a variety of advanced construction courses offered on a rotating basis ( i.e. Tailoring, Advanced Construction, Crafts, Period Patterning). Large undergraduate program and small Graduate program with lots of opportunity for students in design and construction on departmental Mainstage and workshop productions. Productions largely designed and constructed by students through classes and independent projects with faculty/staff supervision. Positive history of job placement for alumni in Bay Area theatres.
