Are you new to the Eos family of consoles and ready to hit the ground running with your first show? ETC_4C-Rev Learn all the basics you will need to get started in our Essentials class.  This class will give you a solid foundation with the Eos family of consoles and prepare you to grow your knowledge as you are ready.

Target Audience: Anyone new to the Eos family of consoles and is looking to learn the basics.

Session Highlights:

  • Identify key elements of the console user interface and navigation
  • Patch conventional and multi-parameter fixtures
  • Work with channels in Live mode
  • Record, select, and delete groups
  • Record, play, and delete basic cues
  • Record to, load, and clear submasters
  • Create step-based effects
  • Understand the basics of working with a multi-parameter device (introductory concepts)

Are you a current Eos family console user who would like to better understand what the console is capable of?  Have you mastered the basics of the Ion and are you now ready to take your programming to the next level?  Are you ready to learn more about programming moving lights?  If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then the Level 2 Enhanced Skills class is right for you. 

Target Audience: Anyone who already has an Eos family product and is looking to learn more about their consoles.

It is highly recommended that you review Level 1 before attending this Level 2 class.

Magic Sheets are user-created graphic displays that offer customizable interactive views for showing data and programming. Magic sheets can be designed, edited or used in offline or from any control device online. The Magic Sheet class will provide a quick overview of the basic operations and functions that can be used while creating a magic sheet on an Eos family console.


Target Audience: Anyone who already has an Eos family product and is looking to learn more about their consoles.

!!!   Ideally you have completed a Level 2 class BEFORE taking this advanced class.

Session Highlights:

  • Create a simple  object on a workspace
  • Work with the properties of the object
  • Understand the use of Target assignments and Fields
  • Take advantage of Link to Color and Channel
  • Use the alignment and array tools to add multiple objects
  • Use Group and Ungroup functions
  • Navigate within a single magic sheet or multiple sheets

The Effects class will provide an in-depth exploration into Eos Family effects and their implementation. The class is geared towards intermediate to advanced users looking to expand their knowledge of the effects package. And for users looking to spice up their show files.  The class will also include an introduction to the Eos Family Virtual Media Server function, and using the pixel mapping tools to create some simple and effective effects. Depending on time, we may also provide you with an opportunity to have your questions answered on the subjects that are of most interest to you.

Target Audience: Anyone who already has an Eos family product and is looking to learn more about their consoles.

!!!! Ideally you have completed a Level 2 class BEFORE taking this advanced class.

Session Highlights:

  • Create any of the five effect types
  • Modify the effects parameters
  • Apply effects to channels
  • Modify parameters of instance effects
  • Save effects to both subs and cues
  • Playback effects
  • Create and configure Pixel Maps
  • Patch and control Virtual Media Servers
  • Understand layer control, channel vs. layer output, and crossfades
