Hog4 2-day Console Course
Studio Gear / High End Systems
This accelerated introduction course covers the powerful High End Systems HOG 4 Control Software, which is used on the HOG 4, Full Boar 4, Road Hog 4, Hedgehog 4, and Hog 4PC. This hands-on class will use Hog 4 consoles connected to Light Converse visualizers allowing attendees to run a virtual show. By the end of the second day, students will have a solid working knowledge of the console and an understanding of how to run a show.The class will cover console layout, patching, editing fixtures, programming, palettes, recording cues and cue lists, timing options, directories, pages, scenes, and much more.

Prerequisites: Attendee should have prior experience with automated luminaires and a general familiarity with lighting consoles. In addition, they should have working knowledge of DMX 512 communication protocol, fixture addressing and patching.

Mike is a well-rounded member of the live event industry and has worked as a designer, programmer, technician and rigger. Mike was employed with Cirque du Soleil's production of La Nouba, and several Broadway touring shows. Before joining Studio Gear in 2011, Mike worked as a construction project manager in Green Bay, WI.
When at work, Mike really enjoys developing creative solutions to fulfill customers’ needs and visions and then working with the Studio Gear team to implement the plan, making those visions come to life.
