BBQ Dinner Friday evening and Saturday Lunch in Strayer-Wood Theatre Courtyard

Cover the Walls—Individuals bring your work from class or production to display

3 Free student registrations to the national Conference will be awarded.

Show & Tell in Strayer-Wood Theatre following BBQ
Please bring photos of work on key drive or CD to share.  Limit on presentation time is five minutes, please, so bring your most interesting stuff!

Friday Night from 5-6:30 pm, Show and Tell later that evening, BBQ to follow.
Registration also Saturday morning 8:00 to 9:00 am.
Coffee and donuts provided to get us all going!

Workshops

  1. ETC – Demo with Congo Light Board:a representative of ETC will conduct this workshop.

  2. Digital Sound at Gallagher-Bluedorn PAC: Sandy Nordahl and Travis Duncan share their expertise on state of the art digital sound equipment in the Performing Arts Center.

  3. Student to Student:   Tech Olympics: Costume quick change and  Props quick change. 

  4. Faculty Roundtable: Student Outcomes Assessments.

  5. Tours of Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center: The  Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center opened on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in 2000. This $23 million, 100,000 square foot complex features three state-of-the-art concert halls, a soaring glass-walled lobby and dozens of teaching and rehearsal spaces. All three halls have been designed with state of the art equipment, superb acoustics and intimate sightlines.

  6. Mask Making: A roundtable  discussion  and demonstrations  of processes and techniques
