The Officers of USITT
USITT is led by its Board of Directors: the Executive Committee
(officers) and the Directors at Large. This page lists the
members of the Executive Committee and the Directors at Large and
reproduces a relevant paragraph from the By-Laws.
According to the
By-Laws (PDF)
of the Institute,
the Board shall be
thirty (30) in number, or thirty-one (31) when there
is a President-Elect in office. The Board is elected by
the membership in a closed ballot on a rotating schedule.
Each year, six new Directors at Large are elected, along
with a portion of the Officers. The voting members of the
Board are members in good standing of the Institute and
a Regional Section for the year in which they are elected,
and for all the time they serve. Every member of the Board
also serves as a member of a committee, or as a Commissioner
or Vice-Commissioner.
