ABSTRACT: A trunk full of garments donated to the local Friends of Fashion organization provides costume designers with a rare opportunity to study the costumes actually worn by small-time Vaudeville performers in the early 1900s.
Note: A complete set of photos -- those published in the article as well as those not included due to space restrictions -- is available for those who may wish to study these costumes in more detail.
