The 2013 Architecture Awards Program willopen on July 1, 2012
Sponsored by the USITT Architecture Commission, the Architecture Awards Program honors excellence in the design of theatre projects. The awards were created in 1994 to recognize architects for superior design work, to increase the interest of architects in USITT, to promote USITT to a larger audience, and to provide resource material for USITT members on contemporary theatre.
Honor Awards (the highest designation) and Merit Awards are evaluated by a panel of distinguished jurors for creative image, contextual resonance, community contribution, explorations in new technologies, and functional operations.
