Florida State University School of Theatre is seeking applications for a full time tenure track Assistant Professor to develop and implement a graduate program (MFA) in Integrated Media Design. It is also expected that this position will teach all levels of projection design and lighting design/technology and occasionally provide integrated design and lighting design work for the FSU School of Theatre productions. The position begins in August 2019.
Successful candidates must hold an MFA or Ph.D in Theatre Design and have significant professional experience in projection design, lighting design, media servers and DMX lighting control. Must possess demonstrated ability to professionally implement designs and adhere to strict deadlines. The candidate must have experience with demonstrable ability as an instructor. We are looking for a candidate whose strengths will complement those of the current faculty.
