Joe Aldridge, recently retired, taught at UNLV from 1974 until 2017, serving as Technical Director from 1984 to 2005. He has recently developed a new Bachelor of Science Degree in Entertainment Engineering and Design and serves as the College of Fine Arts’ Coordinator for that degree program. He has been a member of IATSE Local 720 since 1975, working in most of the major hotels and casinos. He currently serves as a Chair of the Nevada Resort Association/IATSE Local 720 Training Trust. Joe has also served as Third Vice President of IATSE Local 720. Joe has been active in USITT since 1985, serving as a panelist, giving workshops at several Conferences and as Conference Chair of the 1995 USITT Conference & Stage Expo in Las Vegas. He has served two terms as a Director-at-Large, and one term as Vice President for Special Operations. Joe served three terms as USITT’s Vice-President for Conferences. He was elected to the position of and served as the 25th President of USITT. Joe also represents USITT on the Certification Council of the Entertainment Technician Certification Program, the governing body of ETCP, as a member of the Executive Committee. As a member of the ICAP, Joe helped to develop the entertainment industry specific OSHA 10-Hour training curriculum that is currently being offered to various IATSE locals, colleges and universities and at the annual USITT conference. Joe is an OSHA Outreach Trainer for the IATSE Craft Advancement Program and serves on the IATSE Training Trust as a union representative.

Eddie Raymond recently retired from serving as the vice president and safety and training director of IATSE Local 16 in San Francisco. Eddie is the immediate past president of the Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA), sits on the IATSE Crafts Advancement Program committee, is a member of the Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) Council, and is a subject matter expert for the ETCP Entertainment Rigging Exams. Eddie has acted as ACT’s scene shop foreman/technical supervisor and, among other activities, as construction coordinator at Industrial Light and Magic.
