Position: Full-time, 9 month, tenure-accruing faculty position

The School of Theatre and Dance invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Costume Design. The position shares leadership in maintaining and advancing the costume design and technology program; teaches, recruits, and mentors graduate and undergraduate students; actively participates in the costuming of productions and contributes in areas of service and shared governance. The position requires active engagement in the field of costume design commensurate with the expectations of a research-focused institution. The position entails active participation in our learning community while finding innovative ways to engage in critical discourse across the arts and other disciplines. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in their design work and pedagogy.
