Assistant Technical Director, McAlister Auditorium
This is a full time with benefits, 12 month professional position. The ATD reports to the Director and assists in overseeing all of the day-to-day operations of McAlister Auditorium. They and the Technical Director are responsible for maintenance and oversight of operation of all sound,lighting, video and theatrical equipment in the facility. They will oversee event operations including all aspects of production. The ATD will be aware of and enforce all safe practices for live events. Frequent nights and weekends as well as an irregular schedule are part of this job, that being said, every effort will be made to support work-life balance and mental health. OSHA 10 or 30 , experience in theatrical rigging, video production, lighting and audio are all a plus.
