Clinical Assistant Professor of Theatre - Lighting Design
The University of Idaho Department of Theatre invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Lighting Design to begin Fall 2022. The successful candidate is expected to teach a 3:4 load (21 credits per year) or its equivalent according to the needs of the department as directed by the department chair. Primary responsibilities: supervise student designers and design at least one of our main stage shows annually, teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate technical, lighting and design courses, manage lighting equipment and supplies and supervise safe, professional practices in a theatre environment. Required qualifications include an MFA in Theatre, and teaching lighting design at the university level. Preferred qualifications include: experience in other design areas and/or stage management.
