The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for day to day operations of the All Access/Versa Stage Fabrication Shop, reports directly to the company President and CEO, and is part of the management team of the Fabrication Department. They will oversee all activities in the Fabrication Shop related to the production of stock equipment and custom gear ensuring all processes are conducted safely, follow design criteria, and are completed within the time and budget constraints set forth per project. In conjunction with the Production Manager, they manage budgets for the fabrication shop and individual projects. This position oversees approximately 35 full-time fabrication staff members as well as temporary labor. The Fabrication Supervisor works closely with the Sales, Technical Design, Project Management, and Rentals departments to ensure timely and effective delivery of all projects. The Fabrication Supervisor is also responsible for design review and cut listing of projects. Furthermore, with the help of an assistant, department administrator, and shop staff, they oversee Inventory Control and accounting for the fabrication department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Ensure work areas are maintained and clean and personnel operate in a safe and efficient manner
•Manage and administer reviews, evaluations, and salary requests for all full-time fabrication employees
•Enforce and implement all safety protocol, always looking for opportunities for improvement
•Determine temporary labor needs and arrange for employees to arrive as needed
•Provide input on design decisions for upcoming projects and modifications to standard AA equipment
•Oversee inventory procurement, reconciliation, and tracking of stock material and shop items
•Schedule shifts and time-off requests for all full-time employees on both the day and night shift
•Coordinate the handover between day shift and night shift
•Oversee shop equipment maintenance and repair
•Ensure overall quality control for custom items and stock gear
•Coordinate with outside vendors for subcontracted finish and machining work as needed
•Forecast fabrication shop staffing and labor needs during peak production seasons
•Member of the Emergency Preparedness and Safety Committee. Lead monthly safety meetings for the fabrication shop
•Other responsibilities will be assigned based on specific interest and needs of department management


•5 to 7 Years in Project, Production, and/or Fabrication Management
•Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in related field with related experience will also be considered
•Strong background in fabrication and knowledge of machining, welding, and carpentry required
•Knowledge or experience with CNC routers, Waterjet tables, rigging, and electrical a plus
•Computer literacy required and familiarity with budget management, planning, and Gantt Chart software desired
•Excellent communication skills and ability to function within strict timelines and set budgets a must
•Bilingual Spanish/English speaker preferred
•Regularly required to talk and hear.
•Visual abilities include close vision and the ability to focus.
•Able to be active for long periods throughout the day, moving around the shop and offices
