Production and Events Manager
Production and Events Manager at the University of Georgia Hodgson School of Music. Responsible for: managing, designing, and assisting with all aspects of concert event production; secondary assistance to the departments of dance and theater; collaborative work with Music and the Performing Arts Center to produce concerts, lectures, workshops, masterclasses, symposia, etc.; professional, efficient operations and outstanding customer service; scheduling; liaison between faculty, staff, students and others; support as needed for lighting, sound reinforcement, and other staging; creative leadership in production design; oversight of ushering, ticketing, programs, and marketing. Experience working in a theater, performing arts center, or other experience in concert or theater management and/or event production. Demonstrated success in the design, development, and staging of performances. Knowledge of and experience with: musical performance, particularly classical and art music performance; and technical aspects of performance production including staging, recording, and lighting. Writing skills; strong computer skills; ability to manage complex projects; meet deadlines; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
