Summary
The Sound Director manages all aspects of sound, supervises department personnel, maintains the department equipment, and collaborate with other department heads to manage the physical spaces of the sound shop, theatre spaces, and support areas. The Sound Director is responsible for supporting the artistic vision of directors and designers as it relates to the advancement, budgeting, and realization of sound designs. The Sound Director participates in production planning for the season, especially as it relates to the execution of the sound.
