Theatre and Facilities Manager
The Theatre and Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing general production administration for the School of Dance, including hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling production staff and coordinating with faculty, staff, students, and renters to ensure that production needs are met. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for management of the School of Dance facilities and equipment and will coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance with the Facilities Management Department. The Theatre and Facilities Manager will also manage building security, develop emergency plans, and effectively communicate this information. The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator and be committed to providing exceptional customer service to all School of Dance stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, including 2 years of managerial experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
Must be able to lift/transport a maximum of 50 pounds.
