Touring Team Overview:
This role is ideal for a team player who is keen to tour and spend a few months at a time in each city. You report to the Tour Manager who oversees and supports all operations. You also have the support of a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), who will provide virtual assistance for troubleshooting specialized equipment or come to the city to help out as needed.
Each member of the touring team runs all show tracks and works with different departments. You train and manage local technicians who will run the show tracks, and oversee local crew for load-in and load-out.

Touring Team General Expectations:
Manage daily operations of your department alongside a core touring team. Work closely with other departments
Train and work with local crew to run the show, rehearsals, and special events.
Collaborate with SMEs for load-ins, load-outs, and
Learn and run all show tracks and presets.
Team members should be prepared to maintain a flexible schedule for special events, rehearsal/training, equipment maintenance, and evening show performances.
Problem-solve in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment
Comprehensive knowledge of running show tracks alongside other technicians, stage managers, and performers.
Understand a theatrical team operation and can follow company organization charts.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads, walk, stand, sit, crouch, bend, stretch, and reach.
Follow and maintain documentation in collaboration with the Subject Matter Experts.
Preserve the ongoing; long-term “opening night” quality, the designer’s vision, and the artistic integrity of the production.
Maintain a safe working environment, participate in all required safety courses, and inform tour management or technical supervisors if you observe any safety concerns.
This role will tour full-time, year-round, so you must have a valid passport. Any time not spent touring will be spent working remotely.
On tour, you will spend a few months at a time in any given city.
Between cities, there is a load-out, load-in, tech, and staging process that you will be involved with.
You will travel to other Fever Projects experiences to support other teams when needed.
Lodging and Travel will be provided by Fever Projects.

Requirements

Touring Team Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of previous experience as a professional technician in a theatrical setting.
Previous touring experience preferred.
Experience leading a team, or as a manager.
*A 10-hour OSHA course completion card is a plus.
*Current First-Aid certification is a plus.
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Workspace.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
Legally permitted to work and travel internationally and hold a valid passport, without any legal restrictions. Fever Projects will provide work visas as needed.
