The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects and gear. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with loading docks, pick-up/drop-off scheduling, and general warehouse operations, including knowledge of security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, repair and maintenance, and some experience managing drivers and warehouse employees. Additionally, a strong understanding and knowledge of theatrical lighting, staging, rigging, and entertainment equipment is required. This is an exempt salaried position that includes eligibility for PTO, health insurance, and 401k program after probationary period.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate within standard operating and safety procedures
• Complete all assigned crew training modules
• Communicate with sales team members, client representatives, vendors, technical design team, and Los Angeles warehouse managers to ensure proper execution of rental jobs
• Maintain and organize equipment, leveraging inventory software to track gear status
• Direct flow of equipment in and out of the building
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by researching and selecting the optimal shipping method to meet customer expectations and budget
• Interface with vendors to secure subrental equipment
• Rent and drive Class C box truck as required
• Assist with equipment setup on job sites as required
• Operate forklift

Qualification Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Clean and neat appearance
• Ability to work weekends and overtime
• Familiarity with requirements of touring equipment and terminology a plus
• English speaking preferred, bilingual a plus
• Proficient with computers, including MS Office suite
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, highly collaborative work style
• Forklift license preferred

• Regularly required to talk and hear
