Tempe, AZ - Longtime Rhino Staging employee Boone Jackson has been promoted to the position of National Director of Safety. He begins in the position immediately and replaces the departing Jacob Worek.
Jackson joined Rhino in 2002 working on a variety of shows in many departments and roles from stagehand, supervisor and production manager. He has been the Director of Operations for Rhino’s largest market in Nevada for 14 years where he has been overseeing daily operations, client interaction, and strategic planning. Amongst other positions prior to becoming Director of Operations, Jackson also served as Assistant Director of Operations for 5 years where he began working with many of his Rhino peers from around the country on our safety and training initiatives. He is an OSHA authorized instructor and since 2017 has conducted many 10 and 30 hour training sessions for Rhino employees on OSHA’s health and safety standards for general industry.

Prior to joining the Rhino family, Jackson's previous professional positions of note included working as an internet broadcast production manager at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, being a student production supervisor at University of Georgia, and interning in audio production at the Juilliard School. His educational accomplishments include a master’s degree in Producing Film and Video from American University and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from University of Georgia. Also, he joined the military between his junior and senior years of high school and proudly served in the United States Army National Guard from 1990-1996 as a Calvary Scout/Field Radio Technician.
Jackson feels that Rhino has always been a welcome home to him and that it embodies a favored quote from Teddy Roosevelt: “The greatest gift life has to offer is the opportunity to work hard at work worth doing.” As he looks forward to assuming the position of National Director of Safety for Rhino, Boone says he is “excited by the opportunity presented by this new role to champion our safety culture.”
