This hands-on training course introduces high school educators to ETC lighting consoles, with a focus on Ion desks. Designed for beginners, the class covers essential concepts such as patching, channel control, palettes, cue building, and basic effects. Participants will gain practical experience through guided exercises, building confidence in programming and operating a console for school productions. By the end of the course, teachers will have the foundational skills needed to support student crews and successfully run simple theatrical lighting designs and will be prepared for further education through the ETC EOS Training Program. ETC is graciously providing consoles for this training.
Parking Info:
Park in either lot at Narramore and Beloat and walk north on Beloat to pass through the gate. The Performing Arts Center is located across from the cafeteria.
