PixMob, the SFX leaders behind Coldplay’s world tour, the Olympic Games, and other iconic global live events, has acquired Netherlands-based LED tech experts CrowdLED as their new European home base.
PixMob has been involved with projects in the continent for over 10 years from Eurovision in 2013, to successful activations at the EMA’s (Europe Music Awards), Commonwealth Games, Queen’s Jubilee electronic music festival like AMF, and multiple sporting events.
“This partnership will bring European live events the best of both worlds: CrowdLED’s simple plug-and-play LED wristband tech and PixMob’s industry-leading SFX and lighting innovations” says Jean-Olivier Dalphond, CCO and Partner at PixMob.
By joining forces, PixMob will leverage CrowdLED’s regional agility and local expertise while expanding the reach of PixMob’s advanced effect technologies. The acquisition was made to reinforce PixMob’s capacity to deliver their iconic fan experiences to European markets.
“We’re excited for this bright new chapter, and we feel CrowdLED is the perfect partner in PixMob’s mission to bring even more international audiences the once-in-a-lifetime live experiences they chase.” - Paul Reuwer CEO / Founder of CrowdLED
