Rosco Laboratories, Inc., and ETC announce that they have reached an amicable resolution to the intellectual property dispute earlier this year. Both companies are focused on customer satisfaction and recognize the value of Rosco's color trademarks to the lighting design community.
The executives of both companies expressed their satisfaction with the outcome of the negotiations and their commitment to maintaining the spirit of collaboration moving forward. Mark Engel, Rosco CEO says, "We are pleased to have rechead a resolution that protects our intellectual property rights while promoting collaboration and innovation in the industry. This agreement reflects our commitment to finding constructive solutions and prioritizing the interests of our customers and stakeholders."

ETC plans to reinstate Rosco trademarked color, gobo, and fixture profiles within their software in the spring of 2024.
