We invite Costume Shops to select 1–3 pairs of shoes from their collections for the special exhibit, The Soles of the Nation, at USITT26.
We’re seeking shoes with a unique identity — pairs that stand out because of how they were acquired, how they’ve been used, how they’re constructed, or simply because they’re a favorite with a story worth sharing. Whether practical, infamous, or personal, each pair has a story, and we want to share it in Long Beach.
How to Participate
Interested in contributing? Please complete this form to be considered. To participate, you’ll need to make room in your luggage or arrange an alternate way to bring the shoes to USITT26.
If your submission is accepted, we’ll follow up with additional details about when and where to bring the shoes for display.
