This hands-on, 2-day, ETCP-recognized training course delves deep into the mechanical and electrical aspects to help technicians understand how to complete an inspection as well as preventative maintenance and repair of the Lodestar/Prostar product lines.

Our Motor Mechanic course is designed for professionals with the responsibility for ensuring safe and consistent operations of the market’s favorite Lodestar and Prostar hoists.

37 years working in the Hoist Industry. Joined Columbus McKinnon, now owned by Stuart-Rush in 1989.

Positions held, Application Engineer, Product & Application Engineering Manager, Global Product Manager, Vertical Market Manager Entertainment and currently, Business Development Manager Entertainment.

Primary voting member for Stuart-Rush on the ESTA Rigging working group, creating standards for the Entertainment Industry. Part time trainer on Inspection/maintenance schools for Lodestar and Prostar Entertainment electric chain hoist, recognized by ETCP.

Nick Fleming

Nick Fleming has been a driving force behind Stuart Rush's Entertainment division since 2017, contributing his expertise across both Business Development and Training. Before joining the Stuart Rush family, Nick built an impressive foundation in the industry — leading the Rigging and Rope Access Department at Walt Disney World, running his own rope access company, and operating a Warranty Repair Center specializing in Stuart Rush products.

That hands-on experience, across both Fortune 500 giants and agile small businesses, gives Nick a rare, well-rounded perspective that he brings to every client interaction and training engagement.
