Adlib Provides an Integrated Production for the Pitbull Party

As part of his globe-spanning Party After Dark Tour, Pitbull brought his high-energy live show to arenas across the UK & Europe. Known for tightly choreographed performances, big production, and an extensive band and brass section, Adlib provided a comprehensive technical solution that could deliver a big impact with precision and consistency across multiple large venues for the UK and European leg of the tour.

Adlib worked closely with Pitbull’s production team to deliver an integrated touring solution across audio, video, lighting, and rigging, all designed for rapid deployment, reliability, and scalability.

Leah Coyle, Account Manager, Adlib comments; “The technical brief was to replicate what had been delivered for Pitbull’s highly successful US tour, for audiences in the UK and Europe. The crucial factor in delivering this large-scale production was the partnership we created between Adlib’s audio, video and lighting specialists and the respective teams in the Pitbull camp. Regular, open communication between these multi-disciplinary teams ensured the cross-market consistency we were all working towards. By providing a 360° service with a single point of contact, we were able to plan and coordinate logistics more effectively, ultimately giving greater support to the crews on site and ensuring best value for the client.”

The audio team deployed an L-Acoustics K1 & K2 system comprising of 177 boxes in total inclusive of K1/K2 main hangs, flown K1SB subs, K2 upstage hangs, K2 flown side fills, and a L2D centre hang. In addition to this the team deployed 4 hangs of K2 delays all designed to drive clarity, power and the show’s club feel throughout the room. FOH control came via a Yamaha Rivage PM5 (CS-R5 surface) with DSP-RX-EX engine, complemented by a detailed outboard package. On monitors, a DiGiCo Quantum 338 and full DiGiCo I/O system handled mixes, with KLANG Konductor for immersive personal monitoring and a D&B M2 floor monitor system. A compliment of Shure Axient and Sennheiser 6000 series supported Pitbull, his band and guests.

Designed to deliver brightness, punch, and variety for a high-energy set, the lighting package was built around Martin, Robe, GLP and Chauvet fixtures and a robust rigging backbone. Floor fixtures added punch from the stage level, including MAC Ultra Performance, MAC Aura XIP, and GLP JDC-1.

The lighting control system consisted of grandMA3 light and full-size consoles, supported by StageSmarts C72tv distro, fibre multicore, and dedicated control racks. Atmospherics came courtesy of MDG theONE and MDG ATMe hazers.

The visual package was headlined by a massive 330-panel ROE BQ4 LED wall across the upstage, IMAG, and riser fascia, all processed through Megapixel VR Helios.

The camera package was built for live broadcast and screen content, including: Panasonic UC4000 (with Canon UJ90 lenses), Panasonic UE160 PTZs, Marshall CV225-M lipstick cameras and Panasonic UE70 FOH spy cam.

Control was managed via Adlib’s 4K Ross Carbonite Ultra system with TouchDrive panel, engineered to handle multi-angle switching, playback, and integration with live camera and LED elements. Recording was via an AJA Ki Pro Ultra 12G rack, while screen management used a Barco E2-4K system.

With 91 rigging points per show, 45 of which were dedicated to audio alone, the rigging infrastructure played a critical role in delivering the show safely and efficiently. The system used a combination of Tyler GT+ pre-rig truss, TSG ladder trusses, and OV40 general-purpose truss, suspended using EXE 1T D8+ motors. The tour’s rigging team ensured smooth daily operation, adapting the flown system to a variety of venue configurations while maintaining consistency across all departments.

Each department was delivered as part of a coordinated system, with reliable infrastructure and an experienced crew ensuring consistent results. The production ran smoothly across all dates, with the technical setup supporting this high-energy live performance.
