NATEAC 2020 Call for Presenters

October 23, 2019

The North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference (NATEAC) is a quadrennial event featuring sessions on diverse topics relevant to the design and construction of performance venues throughout North America. The NATEAC producers are accepting session proposals for the upcoming conference to be held in July in New York City. The 2020 conference theme is loosely wrapped around music venues; large, small, new and old, repurposed, professional, non-profit and community. Climate change and its impact on performance venues will also be highlighted. Session topics should be contemporary and of a caliber to match the stature of the audience. Proprietary product or process discussions are discouraged. Outright infomercials will be discontinued.

Please send your proposal details, including potential presenters, to Bill Sapsis. Please note that, in order to provide ample time for attendee participation at each session, the number of presenters for each session will be limited.

NATEAC will host over 300 industry professionals at the Roosevelt Hotel on July 19 & 20, 2020. In addition to the 18 sessions, there will be networking opportunities including the traditional harbor cruise on Saturday night, July 18 and a closing cocktail party on Monday evening. Conference sponsorship opportunities are still available.
