As we enter 2026 and look ahead to the rapidly approaching Annual Conference & Stage Expo in Long Beach, the 2027 Prague Quadrennial may still seem distant. For those who have experienced this global exhibition and celebration of performance design, however, the question is already emerging: how and when can I submit work for the U.S. National or Emerging exhibits?
You will get that answer in Long Beach.
At this year’s Conference, the USITT PQ team will share details of the artistic vision for the 2027 U.S. exhibit and officially open the submission portal.
Artists, designers, and scenographers working across the United States will be invited to submit work for consideration in the U.S. exhibition, E Pluribus Unum: Scenographic Fragments of an American Mosaic. Bringing together a wide range of practices, perspectives, and approaches, the exhibit will form a collective portrait of American performance design, assembled piece by piece.
Please join us at USITT26 to learn more and be part of shaping the U.S. presence at PQ 2027.
