The new Astral Mini Plus offers the familiar ergonomic form factor and rugged performance of the compact Astral transmitter lineage with several upgrades that make it the most full-featured bodypack on the market. Astral Mini Plus features 8+ hours battery life, full 169-1525 MHz global tuning range, IP67 water resistance, and improved usability features for faster setup times and seamless operation. The new Mini Plus will provide dynamic, crystal-clear audio with flexible operation for all live touring, theater productions, and fixed RF integrations.
Sound Devices has also added a set of new features to its entire Astral Wireless range with the new v8.30 firmware update – which streamlines Astral’s workflow with more flexible routing options and full AstralComm integration with SoundBase. The latter gives engineers a streamlined workflow for monitoring and adjusting Astral Wireless devices during coordination, allowing for easily changing frequencies, renaming transmitters, and keeping essential information visible and easy to access.
