USITT has welcomed two new staff members to the National Office in recent months. Pam Lesner has joined as the Sales and Events Administrator and Steele Quinard has joined as the I.T. and Systems Administrator. Both of these people are highly qualified and are ready to take on the mission to help Power Live Entertainment. Take some time to get to know them below and then make sure to connect with them at the Annual Conference and Stage Expo from March 17-20, 2027 in Baltimore.
Pam Lesner
Sales & Events Administrator

Pam Lesner recently joined the USITT National Office team as Sales & Events Administrator, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the Meetings & Events industry.
“As we continue to grow our annual Stage Expo, it is wonderful to be able to have Pam Lesner join the Institute," said Laura Lee Everett, executive director. “She comes with a prior knowledge of USITT and that helps her anticipate the needs of our exhibitors. Additionally, as a Certified Meeting Planner, Pam understands the importance of meetings and trade shows. She will be vital to our success as we develop the strategic framework for the next generations of the Expo.”
Pam graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications. She then spent two decades on the vendor side, working closely with associations to support their annual meetings and conferences. Her experience includes Housing, Registration, Exhibit & Sponsorship Sales, project management, and customer support. After many years of supporting associations from the vendor perspective, Pam is excited to now experience the industry from the association side and contribute to USITT’s Annual Conference & Stage Expo and other programs throughout the year.
A former theatre kid, Pam always dreamed of having a career on Broadway. While her career took a different path, her love of theatre has remained constant and makes joining USITT and the technical theatre community especially meaningful. Pam lives in Northern Illinois with her husband, and their son. Outside of work, she enjoys watching period dramas, exploring all things history, Broadway musicals, boating, Chinese food, and spending time with family and friends.
Steele Quinard
I.T. & Systems Administrator

Steele Quinard joined the USITT National Office as an I.T. & Systems Administrator, working across departments to make USITT’s tools work together.
“I am ecstatic to welcome Steele Quinard to the team,” said Mark Blackmon, director of engagement. “His keen eye and entrepreneurial enthusiasm solidifies an already potent line-up working to enhance USITT for our Members. As this position directly ensures that the National Office can realize the goals of the Board’s bold new strategic plan, I am looking forward to working with him as he settles in and grows in the role, creating exciting new avenues for Member engagement.”
Steele comes to USITT from strategy and finance. He advised companies on mergers and acquisitions as a consultant at Oliver Wyman, then worked in private credit and corporate development at AW Capital in New York, picking up programming and data skills along the way. He earned his BBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, with a minor in Film Studies. Steele lives in New York City, where you’ll find him at a show, playing basketball, or watching classic horror movies.
