DOL Hosts Dialogue: Enhancing Workplace Safety & Health Preparedness in Essential Industries
May 1, 2024
The U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), in collaboration with the Office of Disability Employment Policy’s ePolicyWorks initiative, is hosting a national dialogue to learn about effective policies and practices used in essential industries during various phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. The ideas collected will inform DOL's efforts to support industries and workers during future national emergencies.
As OSHA develops solutions to enhance its preparedness to respond effectively in the future, the agency is eager to hear about the real-world workplace health and safety experiences of workers, employers and/or their representatives, including trade and professional organizations, unions and community groups, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Follow this link to Submit Ideas and Experiences and share the challenges to workplace health and safety that you—or the organizations that represent your profession or industry—faced during COVID-19, as well as any lessons learned, best practices used and solutions developed. Your perspective is central to DOL’s efforts.
