We encourage leadership of all USITT Regional Sections to attend our monthly virtual meeting on Wednesday, July 27 at 2PM EDT. We will have Director of Education & Training Christine Troscher on hand to talk through working with the National Office on submitting sessions for Conference and planning for future events.

In addition, we will have guests on hand to tell you about the BACKstage exam, designed to evaluate the knowledge and work readiness of technical theatre students at the high school level. BACKstage, a joint endeavor of USITT and the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), is the most comprehensive examination of its kind and will assist students in determining their readiness for post-secondary activities in technical theatre. We are looking for regional partners to assist us in promoting BACKstage.
