New as of 2025, the Digital Media Award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated excellence or outstanding potential in the area of digital media design or creative technology in the performing arts while pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. 

Winners of this award receive $2,000 and full-Conference registration for USITT's Annual Conference & Stage Expo. Awards are presented at USITT's Annual Conference & Stage Expo.
