Assistant Technical Director is responsible for coordinating and implementing technical requirements of touring presentations and resident productions in concert with all technical staff assigned to each event, and supervising stage crews within set budgetary parameters for performance and rental events at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• A total of two (2) years (24 months) in education, training and/or work experience in live theatrical productions or performances.
• Demonstrated experience with theatrical rigging, and/or equipment used in theatrical environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• MFA in technical direction or scenic technology
• Experience with computer drafting software; theatrical wood and steel construction; audio, lighting and video equipment and programming.
• Experience in theatrical touring logistics.
• Experience with database software.
• Supervisory experience.
