Assistant Technical Director

The University of Virginia’s Department of Drama is seeking a collaborative, creative, and detail-oriented theatre professional to join our production team as the Assistant Technical Director. This full-time, benefitted position plays a key role in building, supporting, and running productions during the academic year and our professional summer season, the Virginia Theatre Festival.

We’re a hands-on, team-based department producing a diverse season in three performance spaces. This position includes regular evening and weekend responsibilities and offers the opportunity to grow alongside a flexible team that values artistry, safety, and innovation.
