The Valencia College School of Arts, Entertainment and Design is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and transformative leader to join us as the Dean of the School of Arts, Entertainment and Design. In this role, you will lead the academic, fiscal, and operational areas of the School within Valencia College in close partnership with the provost and with colleagues around the College. Responsible for ensuring all facets of School plans are aligned with and fulfill the college’s strategic priorities and direction.
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited University with a major in Fine Arts (Arts, Dance, Music, Theatre, Graphics, Film/Music Production, or related field).
Specialized Knowledge and Experience:
• Leadership experience appropriate to a senior leadership role in higher education.
• Experience in teaching and learning, including direct experience in teaching.
• Experience working with arts organizations in the community.
• Experience with student-related issues.
• Experience in applying instructional technologies.
• Experience in financial analysis, budget development, and the design and assessment of administrative support systems.
• Experience with grants and grant management.
• Experience in analyzing, interpreting, and disseminating student engagement, academic, and outcome data.
