Reporting to the Director of Production, the Properties Supervisor is responsible for the props construction, maintenance, and management for the Department of Theatre and Dance. A typical 14-week semester includes three mainstage productions, three studio productions, and class-based and student-led performance projects.
•A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
•Minimum of three years of experience working as a Props Supervisor or related experience.
•Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
•Proficiency with Google Suite and Adobe Suite.
•Ability to lift 50lbs. and climb ladders.
•General understanding of current best health and safety practice within the US Theatre Industry.
•Valid Driver’s License and competency in driving a cargo van and 26’ box truck.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
